A kalpa then consists of 4 Yugas, according to them, we're supposed to be some..when - during the last Yuga of this Kalpa - the Kali Yuga.

I've heard the expression "the last breath" but not "the last hearbeat". That's what prompted this observation. But you're right, the heartbeat is another measure of time.
